Repair These Engine Issues at the Maserati Dealer
#1 The Exhaust Smoke Produces Color
The exhaust smoke must be white. And if the exhaust yields blue, black, or white smoke, that means the Maserati engine may require help. The colored smoke just represents a total of three different problems. Blue smoke will smell like burnt oil, whereas cloudy white smoke means that the coolant from the engine leaks into the exhaust system & gets expelled with engine gases.
Lastly, black smoke usually gets released by a non-functional or damaged catalytic converter. The converter is unable to remove dangerous carbon and harmful chemicals before leaving the engine. Hire a proficient Maserati dealer to get this issue resolved.
#2 Electrical Issues
The electrical power the devices need gets produced by the alternator. The device offers for the car’s electrical requirements while driving. It has a long lifespan of around eight years. However, it eventually wears out. When the alternator begins wearing out, it yields less power. As a result, the computer might require allocating power to the systems as and when required.
A reduced power supply is evident in the power windows than jam closed or open. The worn-out alternator would not damage the engine. What it does is deprives it of the electrical power that makes essential systems like spark plugs work.
#3 Engine Starts Overheating
When the engine starts overheating, it may contribute to serious problems. You must keep your engine temperature under control. Liquid coolant gets pumped through the system to absorb heat & transport it to the radiator. Here, the heat gets removed. A competent Maserati dealer can resolve the overheating engine.
